Stephanie is an accomplished pastry chef with her Red Seal and certificate in culinary arts. But that is far from where her story began. As long as Stephanie can remember baking has been apart of her life. Stemming from her Mennonite roots, like her mother, and grandmother before she is a baker. Her passion and love for baking has guided her life and many adventures. With over 20 years experience in the culinary and baking field, including having studied Culinary Arts at the Okanagan University College, being the head Pastry Chef at an award winning prestigious golf course in the Okanagan for over 5 years and earning her Red Seal Baker certificate - She is no rookie in the field. These are just a few of her many accomplishments in the industry. In 2017 Stephanie’s years of experience and hard work paid off and her dreams became reality as she stepped out forming her own company- The Sawdust Bakery- dedicated to bringing the finest desserts, pastries and baked goods to the heart of the sunny Okanagan.
Stephanie’s warm and gentle demeanour, strong work ethic, attention to detail and commitment to quality has been the foundation on which she has built her successful career.
